I just found out that a client of mine had posted unsolicited praise about me and Film Festival Insider on a Reddit post and, honestly, it meant so much to me. 

The topic: Scam / Awards-mill Festivals

Since she uses a pen name on Reddit, I'll refer to her as Ms. Eagle here. Ms. Eagle came to me with a pilot which had potential, but she had unfortunately not had the best team to help her actualize her vision. It had great acting, the story and theme and the mission (focused on animal rights) were worth the effort, but the production value was lacking. The project required a fresh pair of eyes, and whole new approach. When Ms. Eagle saw my vision for what her film could be, her exact words were: "OMFG This is the first time I've watched this and NOT cringed at any point." 🤣 While that may seem like faint praise, the truth is she finally feels confident and optimistic about our new plan for her project. She is now working with a new editor and is well on her way to having a finished pilot she will be proud of, and which will do well at film festivals.
